The University of Eldoret is proud to announce the selection of its First cohort of scholars under the TAGDev 2.0 program – a transformative initiative in partnership with the Regional University Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and Mastercard Foundation.
Guided by its commitment to delivering exceptional education and training in Agriculture, Science, Entrepreneurship, the Arts, and Engineering, University of Eldoret provides a transformative learning experience that integrates research, innovation, and community engagement. The implementation of the TAGDev 2.0 program will empower students to emerge as principled leaders, problem-solvers, and catalysts for change, poised to revolutionize the agricultural industry and promote sustainable development in Africa.
From the selected students, ten are set to start their undergraduate programmes in Agribusiness Management, Animal Science and Agriculture while five will start Masters programmes in Community Nutrition, Food Security and Animal Production.
Selection Process
The TAGDev 2.0 attracted a total of 463 applications. After an extensive selection process coordinated by RUFORUM, 15 outstanding candidates were awarded scholarships to study at the University of Eldoret.
