
On Tuesday, 30th September 2025, the University of Eldoret, through its Outreach Centre and TAGDev 2.0 Program, joined stakeholders at the System Changer Network (SCN) Open Day held at Olukulu Guest House, Webuye. Represented by Dr. Heka Kamau, the University engaged in discussions centered on the theme “The Power of Collaboration in Driving Sustainable Development in Kenya.”
The event brought together government leaders, development actors, and community representatives to deliberate on strengthening public-private partnerships, fostering innovative approaches to holistic development, and empowering communities through faith and leadership.
TAGDev 2.0’s involvement aligns with its core objectives of enhancing community transformation, promoting entrepreneurship, and building sustainable livelihoods through collaborative action especially for the youth, women and teen mothers. By contributing to the dialogue, the program reinforced its commitment to working with multi-sector networks to address social and developmental challenges.
Bungoma Governor H.E. Kenneth Lusaka lauded the collective efforts of local and international partners, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in tackling pressing issues and unlocking opportunities for community impact.
