The programme framework
TAGDev 2.0
Transforming African Agricultural Universities to meaningfully contribute to Africa’s Growth and Development, here at the University of Eldoret.

Why it matters
Africa’s agri-food systems need graduates who solve real problems. TAGDev 2.0 makes the university the engine of that change.
TAGDev 2.0 builds upon the success of the first phase of the programme. It is a strategic partnership between RUFORUM and the Mastercard Foundation, aimed at strengthening the capacity of universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions to deliver quality, practical, and inclusive education. The programme also supports young people, particularly those from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds, to access transformative educational opportunities.
